Lady Gaga is featured on TIME Magazine’s annual most influential people in the world list. The issue features an article written by Cyndi Lauper, a gorgeous photo and a video message from Lady Gaga. Check it out below:

"I first heard the name Lady Gaga through a mutual friend. He couldn't stop talking about her. Then I heard her music, and I thought, Wow, I love this kid.

An artist's job is to take a snapshot — be it through words or sound, lyrics or song — that explains what it's like to be alive at that time. Lady Gaga's art captures the period we're in right now. These days, you go to a club and wonder who all these kids are. They don't seem to have jobs. How can they afford to be here? Her song "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich" explains that scene. It's about the New York prep-school party kids she grew up with. It's where she came from. Gaga's lyrics are incredibly literary. When "Bad Romance" starts, the music grabs your ear immediately. Then she opens with the line "I want your ugly/ I want your disease," and all of a sudden you're listening. Most of the stuff on the radio is not very clever, but Gaga presents her ideas in a sophisticated manner. She has an incredible pop sensibility.

People forget how young she is. She is barely 24 — much younger than I was when I became famous. It's very tough being where she is right now. People are pulling her in all different directions. It's hard to navigate that. Try to imagine what you were like at her age, if you still can. I can't wait to see how she grows and what she decides her next act will be. She only has two albums out, but already she is inspiring other artists to go further in their own work.

When I see somebody like Gaga, I sit back in admiration. I'm inspired to pick up the torch again myself. I did an interview with her once, and she showed up with a sculpture on her head. I thought, How awesome. Being around her, I felt like the dust was shaken off of me. I find it very comforting to sit next to somebody and not have to worry that I look like the freak. She isn't a pop act, she is a performance artist. She herself is the art. She is the sculpture"

"Lady GaGa has £100,000 set built"

Lady GaGa has had a new stage built for her set at this year's Lollapalooza festival, reportedly costing £100,000.

Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell, who founded the festival, admitted that a new stage had to be built to support GaGa's theatrical set but insisted that she is worth the extra cost.

The Daily Star quotes him saying: "We're bringing in a special stage for her, investing like a hundred grand to house what she's doing. That's massive.

"Only Lady GaGa could step in and say 'I'm a headliner'."

GaGa is headlining the traditionally rock-based festival held in Chicago, which runs from August 6 to 8.

Lady Gaga Leads Polaroid Creative Session in Tokyo

On Saturday April 17th, Lady Gaga, the Polaroid Creative Director, led a creative team meeting in Tokyo to collaborate on designs for upcoming co-branded products. Tokyo was an inspirational setting for the meeting, and Lady Gaga was truly visionary in her role. The excitement for these upcoming products was palpable, the joy and spirit of Lady Gaga touched everyone in the room. We can’t wait to share more about the creative process and these one-of-a-kind products.

It’s very clear from our first few sessions that she is a creative tour-de-force, and a key player on the Polaroid team. We all know Lady Gaga as a creative artist, but she’s also proving her tech savvy. The partnership is all channeling Lady Gaga’s fashion sense to create innovative products with her fans in mind.

Lady GaGa For X Factor?

Lady GaGa is rumoured to be signing a deal to appear as a guest judge on the X Factor this summer.

Lady G, who performed her number 1 hit Bad Romance on the show last year will reportedly fill in for pregnant Dannii Minogue on the panel whilst she has her baby in Australia.

A source told The People: "It's now a case of dotting the Is and crossing the Ts. Simon Cowell and everyone involved knows just how much of a ratings draw Lady GaGa will be,"

They added: "With the likes of Lady GaGa lined up ITV will be getting their money's worth, even with the extra,"

GaGa will reportedly be paid a cool £110,000 for the stint after Minogue ruled herself out of this year's audition process due to her pregnancy.

"Rep dismisses GaGa surgery reports"

Lady Gaga's spokesperson has denied claims that the popstar is considering plastic surgery, reports Gossip Cop.

A source recently suggested that the 'Poker Face' singer is "completely preoccupied" with plans to undergo a nose job and a breast enhancement operation.

"It seems GaGa can barely get through a concert without blacking out during a break or even collapsing on stage," said an insider.

However, a representative for the 24-year-old is "categorically denying" the speculation.

"This is ridiculous and untrue," the rep said.

The Remix To Be Released In The UK

Lady GaGa will be his releasing a new collection of remixes titled, 'The Remix', an album filled with remixed tracks from her #1 albums 'The Fame' and 'The Fame Monster'.
